We will slowly be expanding our program into approved homes that would like the opportunity to be a part of our mission to bring dogs into this world capable of Healing Souls with Paws of Gold. There is no way for this program to fulfill its standard of ONLY breeding dogs that have achieved their Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and Therapy Dog titles with more dogs. We put forth hours of work daily toward our dogs, litters of puppies, maintaining our current facility, marketing, researching, and communicating with current and prospective buyers. In order to grow and uphold our program’s ethical and promised standards we have implemented this program.
Our long term goal is to live somewhere with more property where we build a bigger facility that provides enough space for a service and therapy dog training program. I am currently obtaining clinical hours as a mental health professional and in a few years I will achieve my clinical license so I can offer private and group animal-assisted therapy at Remedy Ridge premises as well.
Our Guardian Program comes with wonderful opportunities. We provide only top of the line dogs from proven parents and are always genetic health tested/healthy. We cover most health costs during the first year and all training costs associated with what it takes to achieve the CGC and Therapy dog titles. If you bring home a female she will come with a 4 year breeding contract. Males come with a 7 year breeding contract. More details are laid out below each available puppy. Rooster is the sweetest most soulful and silly poodle you’ll ever meet! He is vocal and loves to talk back and go “Roo Rooo”! He is already potty trained (will ring a bell on door to let you know when he wants to go out) crate trained, leash trained and knows basic commands. He’s currently in a Canine Good Citizen course and just a few weeks shy of graduating. He’s already an “AKC Star Puppy and “Manners Matter” graduate. Next he will be ready for his “Advanced Canine Good Citizen” course and after graduating from that he can get therapy certified. A lot of work has been poured into him and he’s been my baby so I will be very selective about his Guardian home. The only reason why I would like to give him a guardian home is because I can’t worry about breedings taking place that should not when my girls are in heat. I’m also so busy with training my other dogs and litters of puppies that I cannot provide him with the attention and love he deserves. I’d love him to go to a home where he will be the center of attention and an indoor dog. He loves to be by your side, he loves to please and is just sooo sweet.
I will just need him from time to time to breed to my females when they come into heat so it’s important you live within an hour of Chattanooga.

Miniature Blue Merle Australian Mountain Dog

Willa is a beautiful blue eyed blue merle miniature Australian mountain dog. She is 75% toy Aussie and 25% Bernese Mountain dog. She should mature around 25-30 lbs. She is home grown here at RRA and we decided to hold her back from her parents Benelli and Astro due to her looks and sweet disposition. She has a darling personality, she’s soo lovey and happy go lucky, always wagging her tail. She is very cuddly and a perfect representation of her incredible parents. Both her parents are extremely laid back and easy going. They are both friendly to all and very loyal and loving.
Willa has already been health tested and is full panel clear! Willa is looking for her guardian family and forever home. This is a wonderful opportunity for a family or individual who would love to incorporate a therapy dog or into their family and/or career. She will come to your home for free and with many other perks for participating in our guardian program. We do not breed dogs unless they have achieved their Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog titles so we will be covering the training classes necessary for her to obtain these titles.
She will come home with all up to date shots/dewormings and will need to get shots again at 10-12 weeks, and 14-16 weeks (coupled with a rabies vaccine) with her yearly boosters from that point forward. After she is one year old she will only need her DHPP vaccine & rabies shot (one visit) which will be your responsibility to upkeep. She will also need to be dewormed & treated for fleas which you can do from home with products that we recommend.
She will come with a 4 year breeding contract meaning that she will have puppies 2x a year (starting at her second cycle or the age of 2). After 3 litters she will skip a cycle and have about a year off,and then have 3 more litters. This will amount to 6 total litters (as long as she remains in optimal health). Once she has completed her 6th litter of puppies we will pay the cost to have her spayed and she will reside with you for the rest of her life.
When she is in heat she will stay on our property until she has been bred. This can take up to 10 days until she is ready to be bred. After that, she will return home to you. One she is ready to have her puppies you will have the choice of housing them at your house (yes, we do offer compensation for this) or having her come to our property until puppies go home at 8 weeks old. Some people, alike myself, love this experience and this would be a wonderful opportunity if you do as well. You will be required to follow our specific routine for socializing and desensitizing our puppies found on our website. Otherwise we have a top notch facility and provide above and beyond care to moms and puppies. I work from home and also have a puppy assistant.
Other than that, we will require that she eats a nutrient dense food, and that she is kept in a stimulating environment and never alone for long hours. We have a very interactive Facebook and Instagram page so we will require that you document some of her training sessions,outings and sweet photos here and there. She is going to be a drop dead gorgeous Australian Mountain dog adult like her mama with soul piercing blue eyes. She could very well be the star of an Instagram page!
